A light concealer that doubles as a cream foundation (yes, please!), this all-natural multi-tasker is specially formulated to veil imperfections and enhance your complexion without giving you a mask-like look. Think of it as ‘your skin but better‘, giving you a natural, dewy finish.
It’s definitely not a full coverage concealer-foundation, but it can easily be layered to a light-medium coverage. The small shade selection somehow blends into different skin tones.
This A-list natural formula contains moisturizers like coconut and jojoba seed oils and soothing castor to hydrate skin and to help heal the skin while canceling out flaws. It’s ideal for guys too.

One month with RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up
A consistent ‘green beauty’ editor favorite, we decided it was time to try out RMS Beauty’s line of nourishing makeup products and see what all the hype was about.
Spoiler: we love it. A lot.
We have now been wearing the coveted RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up on repeat the last few weeks, and it has done nothing but impress us.
Quality concealer is like your undercover best friend. It smoothly covers up your flaws, camouflages pesky zits, masks redness, and evens out your skin tone without leaving a trace.
RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up is a skin-perfecting, duo-purpose makeup product. It spreads beautifully all over the face as a sheer, lightweight foundation AND a moisturizing and healing cover-up on particular areas.
If the formula looks thick and creamy at first, it actually literally melts into the skin when you apply it. The blend-ability (if this is this even a word?) makes the product really easy to build up to your liking. We quickly fell in love with the versatile coverage it provides – sheer where we want it and builds it up where we need it (without that cakey look we know too well). “Un” Cover-Up is currently available in eight different shades: from 000 for the true snow whites to 66 for warm amber skin tone. The mineral pigments do somehow blend in with your skin tone, even if they don’t seem like an exact match at first glance.
It settles to a gorgeous glowy, healthy sheen with a subtle brightening effect.
It’s not a full coverage product, but it works brilliantly for uneven skin tone (including covering imperfections and redness). For longer lasting coverage, follow up with a hint of RMS Beauty “Un” Powder.
Formulated with nourishing oils and kinds of butter (such as Coconut Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Beeswax, Cocoa Seed Butter and Jojoba Seed Oil), it also moisturizes, heals and replenishes skin, making it perfect to use if you have dry skin or during the colder weather months.
It’s best to apply it with your fingers for seamless blending (which we prefer for localized application), but you can also use a foundation brush if you prefer.
Match the shade to your skin tone to cover blemishes and opt for a shade lighter if you’re using it to brighten dark under eye circles.
Without a doubt, RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up has earned a spot in our makeup bag.
How to use RMS Beauty “Un” Cover-Up?
Warm product with fingertip and tap sparingly with fingers over the T-zone area, under eye circles, or wherever any extra coverage is desired. We prefer a skin-to-skin application for better blending, but you can also use a foundation brush.
This concealer also works as a light foundation: just apply a thin layer with a sponge or brush for a natural, even coverage. Let it slowly melt into your skin as “Un” Cover-Up colors will self-adjust to your skin tone if they are not an exact match.
For very dehydrated skin, start with a minimal touch of RMS Beauty Lip & Skin Balm.
For a matte look or for very oily skin types, set with RMS Beauty “Un” Powder.
Results
Completely lightweight and hydrating to the skin, the “Un” Cover-Up gives a subtle, flawless even coverage with a satin-like finish. Formulated to reveal and enhance healthier looking skin: your skin looks more youthful, radiant and rejuvenated. The appearance of pores is also visibly minimalized. Answer: All RMS products can be applied with clean fingers because it blends better and benefits the skin by stimulating blood flow and encouraging skin cell regeneration and turnover.
With that said, RMS Beauty has a foundation brush that mimics skin to skin application and designed to make makeup application very easy and mess-proof.
Question: Is RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up easily applied or is it for make-up artists?
Answer: The warmth of your fingers softens the product and makes it blend naturally using minimal application. Its ease of application makes it suitable for even beginners.
Question: Is RMS Beauty Un Cover-Up waterproof?
Answer: It’s not waterproof, per se but it is not likely to come off through normal perspiration and wear. They are however easily removed with your normal cleansing products.
